Record your whole screen, one window or a browser tab, with sound from the tab and your microphone. Everything is recorded in your browser and nothing is uploaded.
Screen recording isn't available in this browser. Use Chrome, Edge or Firefox on a computer. Phones and tablets don't allow websites to record the screen, so use the phone's built-in screen recorder instead.

How to record your screen
- Choose whether to record sound, then press Start recording.
- Your browser asks what to share: the entire screen, a window, or a tab. To record sound from a video or meeting, choose a tab (or the entire screen on Windows) and tick “Share audio”.
- Press Stop here, or “Stop sharing” in the browser bar, when you're done. Watch the recording and download it.
File format
Chrome and Edge save MP4 where they can, otherwise WebM. WebM plays in Chrome, Firefox, VLC and on YouTube. If you need MP4 for WhatsApp or an older editor, convert it with WEBM to MP4. Then shorten it with Trim Video or make it smaller with the Video Compressor.
Limits and privacy
- There is no time limit or watermark. A long recording uses your computer's memory, roughly 45 MB per minute at High quality, so for recordings over 30–40 minutes, choose Standard.
- Keep this tab open while recording. Closing it ends the recording.
- The recording stays in your browser until you download it. We never see it. Close notifications and private windows before you start.
