Change Video Speed
Choose a video and the new speed.
Uses
- Faster (1.25x–2x): lectures, tutorials and screen recordings that drag on, or long cooking and travel clips for social media.
- Time-lapse (3x–4x): sunsets, construction and drawing videos.
- Slow motion (0.25x–0.75x): sports moves, dance steps and special moments.
How the sound is handled
The audio is time-stretched to match the new speed while keeping its pitch, so voices don't become squeaky or deep. At extreme settings (0.25x, 4x) speech becomes hard to follow. You can remove the sound with Mute Video.
Slowing a normal 30 fps video stretches existing frames, so 0.25x can look jerky. Videos recorded in slow-motion mode (120 or 240 fps) slow down smoothly. The result is an MP4 file, and its length changes: a 60-second clip at 2x lasts 30 seconds.
Privacy
Your file is processed on our server only to make your result, and is deleted when you download it or automatically after about an hour. It is never shared or used for anything else.
How it works
- Upload — select or drag & drop your file.
- Process — choose any options and start; most files take a few seconds, large files, OCR and video can take a minute or two.
- Download — save the result; it is deleted from the server once downloaded (or after about an hour).
