Reverse Audio
Choose an audio file (up to 10 minutes) to hear it backwards.
Uses
- Sound design: reversed cymbals, swooshes and "reverse reverb" effects for music and videos
- Games and challenges: the reverse-singing challenge, or checking for hidden "backmasked" messages
- Language and music practice: hearing a phrase or melody in a new way
- Creative intros and transitions for podcasts and reels
How it works
The entire recording is turned around sample by sample, so the last moment plays first. Because the whole file has to be held at once, reversing is limited to 10 minutes. Cut longer recordings with the Audio Trimmer first. A video can be uploaded too, and its sound track is reversed. The result is saved in the format you choose: MP3 for sharing, WAV for editing in an audio program.
Privacy
Your file is processed on our server only to make your result, and is deleted when you download it or automatically after about an hour. It is never shared or used for anything else.
How it works
- Upload — select or drag & drop your file.
- Process — choose any options and start; most files take a few seconds, large files, OCR and video can take a minute or two.
- Download — save the result; it is deleted from the server once downloaded (or after about an hour).
