The tool copies the picture exactly as it is and leaves out every sound track. Nothing is re-encoded, so the quality is identical, the file gets a little smaller and even long videos finish in seconds. MP4, MOV, MKV and WEBM keep their format. Other formats are converted to MP4.
When to mute a video

To replace the sound instead of removing it, use Add Audio to Video. To keep only the sound, use MP4 to MP3.
