Remove Duplicate Lines

How duplicates are found

Each line is compared with every other line. The first time a line appears it is kept, and later copies are removed, so your list stays in its original order. Choose “the last copy” to keep the most recent entry instead, which is useful for logs or lists that were added to over time.

• Ignore upper/lower case treats Ali@Example.com and ali@example.com as the same line. The first spelling is kept.
• Ignore spaces at the start and end treats Lahore and Lahore   as the same line, which is common in lists copied from Excel or PDFs.
• Remove empty lines drops blank lines completely. When it is off, every blank line is kept so the layout stays as it was.

The summary shows how many lines were removed, and “Lines that were repeated” lists each duplicate with how many times it appeared, so you can see what was cleaned before you use the result.
