JSONPath Tester
Paste JSON, type a JSONPath expression, and see what it matches.
JSONPath syntax
$the root ·.keyor['key']a property ·[0]an array item ([-1]is the last)*every property or item ·..keysearch for "key" at any depth[1:3]a slice (items 1 and 2) ·[0,2]several items[?(@.price < 10)]a filter, where @ is the current item. Use ==, !=, <, <=, >, >=, &&, || and !, or just[?(@.isbn)]to check that a key exists.
Examples
$..price finds every price. $.store.book[*].title finds all book titles. $.store.book[?(@.category == 'fiction')] finds fiction books.
JSONPath is used in API testing tools (Postman), Kubernetes (kubectl -o jsonpath), AWS Step Functions and many integration platforms. Implementations differ slightly in edge cases. This tester follows the common Goessner syntax, and filters accept only simple comparisons, not code.
