Extract ZIP File
Choose a ZIP file to see what is inside. The file is opened on your device and is not uploaded.

How it works
The ZIP is read directly in your browser: the tool lists the files from the archive's directory and only decompresses a file when you view or download it. Nothing is uploaded, so it works for private files and on slow connections, and even large archives open quickly.
- View shows images (JPG, PNG, GIF, WebP) and text files (TXT, CSV, JSON, HTML source and more) on the page.
- Download saves one file.
- Extract all to a folder (Chrome and Edge on computers) writes every file, with its folders, into a folder you choose. In other browsers, download the files you need one by one.
Safety checks
Every extracted file is checked against its CRC checksum, so a damaged archive is reported instead of giving you a broken file. Files that would expand more than 1000 times their packed size ("zip bombs") or beyond 512 MB are refused, and file names with ../ can't write outside the folder you chose. Files inside a ZIP can still contain viruses, so only open programs (.exe, .apk, .bat) from people you trust.
Not supported
Password-protected ZIPs, ZIP64 archives over 4 GB, and RAR or 7z files. For those, use 7-Zip (Windows, free), The Unarchiver (Mac) or your phone's file manager.
How it works
- Open — choose your file; it stays on your device.
- Work — make your changes right in the browser.
- Save — download the result straight to your device.
