Fancy Text Generator
Type your text and copy it in bold, italic, cursive, bubble, gothic and more. These are Unicode characters, so they work in places that don't let you change the font.
How it works
Unicode, the standard every phone and computer uses for text, includes complete alphabets in bold, italic, script, gothic and other styles. They were made for maths and other special uses. This tool swaps each letter for its styled twin, so the “font” travels with the text when you paste it into Instagram bios, TikTok, WhatsApp, X (Twitter), Facebook, YouTube titles or a game name.
Good to know before you use it
- Only English letters and digits change. Urdu, Arabic and other scripts have no styled versions in Unicode, so they stay as they are.
- Search and screen readers: styled letters are different characters. Search engines and other apps may not find the word, and screen readers can read them out letter by letter or as maths symbols. Don't use them for important information such as your name in a CV, contact details or anything people need to search for.
- Some older phones show empty boxes for the rarer styles (squares, upside down). Bold, italic and script are the most widely supported.
- Not every style has digits. Characters a style can't change are kept unchanged.
To change upper and lower case instead, use the Case Converter. Everything happens in your browser.
