Popular conversions
- WebP to JPG: many websites save images as WebP, which some apps, printers and older Windows tools can't open. JPG opens everywhere.
- PNG to JPG: makes photos and screenshots much smaller. Transparent areas are filled with the background colour you choose (white by default).
- JPG to PNG: needed by some upload forms and design tools. PNG does not make a photo sharper, but further edits won't lose more quality.

Good to know
- Animated GIF and WebP files are converted using their first frame. To keep the animation, use Video to GIF for video clips.
- iPhone HEIC photos can't be opened by browsers. Use HEIC to JPG.
- Converting saves only the picture, so hidden data such as camera details and GPS location is removed.
