Crop PDF
Remove white margins, headers or scanner edges from PDF pages. Draw the area to keep on the preview, then apply it to every page or only some pages.
How to crop a PDF
- Choose the PDF. The first page appears as a preview. Use ‹ › to look at other pages.
- Drag the box and its handles over the part to keep, or type the margins in percent.
- Leave “Pages to crop” empty for every page, or enter pages such as
1-3,5. Then press Crop PDF.
Nothing is re-rendered
The tool changes each page's visible area (the PDF “crop box”) and leaves its contents alone. Text stays selectable and searchable, links and form fields keep working, and images keep their full quality. The file size stays about the same. The cut-away part is hidden, not deleted, so don't use cropping to hide private information. To remove content permanently, the page has to be redacted.
Good to know
- Margins are measured on the page as you see it, so rotated (landscape) pages are cropped on the side you expect.
- Pages of different sizes get the same percentage margins.
- Password-protected PDFs must be unlocked first with Unlock PDF. To turn pages, use Rotate PDF. To remove whole pages, use Remove Pages.
How it works
- Upload — select or drag & drop your file.
- Process — choose any options and start; most files take a few seconds, large files, OCR and video can take a minute or two.
- Download — save the result; it is deleted from the server once downloaded (or after about an hour).
