How to convert JPG images to one PDF
Turning a set of photos — receipts, a signed contract photographed page by page, or scanned documents — into one PDF is one of the most common everyday tasks.
How to combine images into a PDF
- Open JPG to PDF.
- Upload your images in the order you want them to appear.
- Download the combined PDF.
Getting the order right
Name your photos so they sort correctly before uploading — page-01.jpg, page-02.jpg — rather than relying on the order you happened to select them in.
If the file is too large
Photos straight from a phone camera can make the combined PDF large. Run it through Compress PDF afterward, especially if you need to email it or fit an upload limit.
For scanned documents specifically
If your photos are scans of a document that needs to be searchable later — not just viewable — run the combined PDF through OCR PDF after combining, which adds a text layer so the content becomes searchable and copyable.
HEIC photos from an iPhone
If your photos are in HEIC format (the default on modern iPhones), convert them to JPG first with HEIC to JPG before combining — most PDF tools expect standard JPG or PNG input.
Photographing pages consistently
If you are photographing physical pages to combine, keeping the same distance, angle and lighting across all the shots produces a much more uniform-looking final PDF than photos taken at different times in different conditions.

If some of your photos come out at different sizes or orientations, straightening this out — cropping consistently, rotating any sideways shots — before combining gives a much cleaner, more professional-looking final document than combining mismatched photos as-is.
