Image Tools Guide: Compress, Resize, Convert & Remove Background
Whether you are preparing product photos for Daraz, a passport-size photo, or images for your website, the image toolkit covers the whole workflow.
The four everyday image jobs
1. Compress an image
Image Compress shrinks photo file size dramatically (often 70–90%) with barely visible quality change — perfect for websites, forms with upload limits, and email.
2. Resize or crop
Resize scales the whole image to exact pixel dimensions; crop cuts a region out. For marketplace listings, resize to the platform's recommended size then compress.
3. Convert formats
iPhone photos arrive as HEIC, which many sites reject — HEIC to JPG fixes that in seconds. WebP↔PNG↔JPG converters cover the rest.
4. Remove background
Remove Background automatically cuts out the subject and gives you a transparent PNG — ideal for product photos, profile pictures, and design work. This tool runs right in your browser, so the photo never leaves your device.
Which format should I use?
- JPG — photos; smallest files, no transparency.
- PNG — logos, screenshots, transparency.
- WebP — modern web; smaller than both, supported by all current browsers.
