Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg reportedly entered a classified Oval Office meeting about the U.S. military’s next-generation fighter jet, the F-47, during President Donald Trump’s second term.

The incident occurred earlier this year and involved Air Force leaders briefing Trump on the project, according to NBC News.

The F-47 programme is named in reference to Trump as the 47th president. Military officials were reviewing key details of the aircraft, which has been described by the president as the most advanced combat platform ever developed.

During the discussion, Zuckerberg entered the room without being listed on the security clearance for the classified briefing.

White House staff reportedly asked Zuckerberg to step out after realising he lacked authorisation to remain present. The meeting continued with aides entering and exiting the Oval Office, some bringing information on screens and others taking phone calls inside the room.

Officials described the event as part of a broader pattern in the West Wing, where informal access to the president has become routine. Trump is said to have referred to the Oval Office as “Grand Central Terminal,” reflecting the frequent comings and goings of visitors, staff, and advisers.

Military leaders present during the meeting were reportedly unsettled by the lack of security protocol, later discussing whether sensitive information could have been compromised.
