KARACHI:
A large quantity of fertiliser bags were seized during a raid conducted in a fake fertiliser manufacturing factory in Ittehad Town. Deputy Commissioner Keamari Raja Tariq Chandio has submitted a report to Commissioner Syed Hasan Naqvi regarding the operation. Cases have been registered against the accused.
The team recovered eight drum machines used for fertiliser preparation, along with two receipts of STK Agro Fertiliser. Further, 4,000 bags of fake DAP/NPK fertiliser, 20 bags of sulfur, and 25 bags of chemical FSO-4 were seized. The factory was also found to contain 15,000 fake 10-kilogram Engro bags, including 10 bags of red color, along with 5,000 empty bags of different companies.
The operation was carried out under the supervision of DC Chandio, and included the AC, officials of relevant departments, and the police.
