PESHAWAR:
The Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Food Safety and Halal Food Authority has completed its special spice-testing campaign, revealing that one-fourth of the spice samples collected across the province were found to be substandard.
According to the authority’s spokesperson, a total of 82 samples were collected from major wholesalers, grinding units, and packaging industries during the 15-day campaign. These samples were tested at the Provincial Food Testing Laboratory and Center for Research using advanced equipment.
