United Business Group (UBG) Patron-in-Chief SM Tanveer, and leader of the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI), has called on Pakistani investors to repatriate their investments from the UAE’s real estate sector and reinvest in Pakistan.
In an official statement on Wednesday, he emphasised the importance of redirecting investments to Pakistan rather than keeping funds in regions affected by conflict. “Pakistan needs your support to achieve economic sustainability,” he said.
He noted the efforts of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir over the past two years to stabilise Pakistan’s economy. “It is now up to the business community to play its part,” he added.
Tanveer highlighted Pakistan’s growth potential, citing its strategic location, natural resources, and workforce. “It is time for Pakistani investors to invest in their own country and contribute to its economic development,” he said.
He encouraged the business community to engage with relevant authorities to explore investment opportunities. “Your country needs your investment, your expertise, and your trust. Let us work together to build a stronger Pakistan,” he concluded.
