KARACHI:
A truck carrying sacrificial animals was hijacked at gunpoint in Liaquatabad, it emerged on Tuesday.
According to police and eyewitness accounts, the incident occurred on May 9 when Muhammad Naeem Qureshi was transporting three cattle heads purchased from the Bhains Colony to Orangi Town. As his truck passed through Liaquatabad, it was intercepted by unidentified gunmen traveling in a car.
They forced the truck driver out of the vehicle and into their car at gunpoint. They then fled the scene with the truck and livestock.
