Three arrested after robbery

Police in Chung arrested three suspects in a robbery at a fuel station where staff members were held hostage.

The suspects, Ali Raza, Sajid Ali and Muhammad Tayyab, were arrested with the help of CCTV footage obtained during the investigation.

Police said the suspects had allegedly stormed the petrol pump, held the staff hostage and carried out the robbery before escaping. Following the incident, investigators analysed surveillance footage and launched raids that led to their arrest.

The police recovered mobile phones, cash, a motorcycle and three pistols from the accused. Cases were registered against the suspects and the investigations were under way.
