ISLAMABAD: The country witnessed a surge in textile exports by 7.22 per cent to $17.88 billion in FY25, compared to the exports of $16.68 billion registered in FY24. However, exports went down by 7.36 per cent compared to the exports of $19.3 billion registered in FY22.

According to the latest data, the textile exports clocked in at $1.53 billion in June 2025, up by 7.22 per cent, compared to the exports of $1.4 billion registered in the same month of FY24.

In July FY25, the exports of textile products went down by 3.05 per cent to $1.27 billion, as in the same month of FY24 the exports were registered at $1.31 billion. However, in August FY25, the exports surged by 12.33 per cent to $1.64 billion from $1.46 billion in the corresponding month of FY24.

The exports further increased by 18.38 per cent in September to $1.61 billion as compared to the $1.36 billion exports in the same month of FY24. In the month of October, the exports slightly tumbled but remained on the positive trajectory as exports increased by 13.19 per cent to $1.63 billion from $1.44 billion in FY24.

In November, exports remained at 10.61 per cent to $1.46 billion from $1.32 billion and in December of FY25, the exports hiked by 5.71 per cent to $1.48 billion from $1.40 in FY24. However, in January 2025, the exports escalated by 15.07 per cent to $1.68 billion from $1.46 billion in the same month of FY24. In February and March, exports of textile products remained at 0.71 per cent and 10.77 per cent, respectively. But in April FY25, exports tumbled by 1.29 per cent to $1.22 billion from $1.24 billion in FY24 and in May the exports further went down by 3.85 per cent to $1.50 billion from $1.56 billion in FY24.
