Taylor Swift isn’t letting old flames get in the way of friendship.
The multi-Grammy-winner’s true feelings have been revealed after her longtime friend Zoë Kravitz started dating her ex-boyfriend Harry Styles, in a new report published by US Weekly on October 29.
A source told the outlet that Swift “doesn’t have an issue” with her friend and ex-boyfriend dating.
“Their relationship was so long ago,” the source noted, emphasising, “Harry has moved on, and so has Taylor. They’re friendly when they see each other, which isn’t often but does happen occasionally.
The insider added, “It’s all in the past now.”
Swift, 35, and Styles, 31, briefly dated in 2012, with their whirlwind romance ending after a Caribbean trip gone wrong.
“They had a fight,” a source told Us Weekly at the time, adding that Styles “said something he shouldn’t have.” The breakup, according to fans, went on to inspire some of their biggest hits, including Swift’s Style and One Direction’s Perfect.
Despite the lyrical tension, Styles later told Rolling Stone, “I’m lucky if everything [we went through] helped create those songs… I’m never going to tell anybody everything.”
These days, the exes are on friendly terms. The Life of a Showgirl hitmaker got engaged to NFL star Travis Kelce in August, while the One Direction star began his new romance with The Batman actress that same month.
