The Housemaid, the latest psychological thriller, has gripped viewers with its jaw-dropping ending related to Andrew Winchester, portrayed by Brandon Sklenar.
In the movie, fans believe Nina, played by Amanda Seyfried, who is a housewife, is crazy. But the reality turns out to be something completely different as the flick progresses.
Reacting to this, the actress describes it as “shocking,” while her co-star Sydney Sweeney, playing a housemaid, calls the twist “suspenseful and crazy, roller coaster, wild, genre-bending.”
Shocking fans with the film’s turn of events, director Paul Feig tells Today that the movie’s story will continue in sequels; however, it’s unclear when they will be released.
“Millie is not done,” the filmmaker says, referring to Sydney’s character, noting. “We kind of get a taste of where Millie goes and what’s going on. But I want Nina to come back into her life. I feel like Millie really needs Nina.”
The Housemaid is based on a novel of the same name. Freida McFadden pens two more books in line with the first. They are named The Housemaid Secret and The Housemaid is Watching.
Sydney’s starrer psychological thriller is running in theatres.
