RIYADH:
GO Telecommunications Group has announced the establishment of GO AI Hub Pakistan, a dedicated centre for artificial intelligence (AI) and digital innovation, during a meeting with Pakistan’s Federal Minister for Information Technology and Telecommunication, Shaza Fatima Khawaja, at the company’s headquarters in Riyadh.
According to an official statement issued on Saturday, both sides discussed collaboration in strategic sectors including digital infrastructure, AI, and human capital development. The AI Hub aims to promote knowledge transfer, capacity building, and the joint creation of digital solutions between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan.
The official launch of the GO AI Hub Pakistan is scheduled for October 2025 and will be attended by senior government and industry leaders from both countries.
The meeting also explored future cooperation in data centre development, digital infrastructure expansion, and technical talent training in Pakistan, reflecting the shared vision of enhancing regional digital connectivity and innovation.
The ITT minister lauded GO Telecommunications Group’s technological expertise and its role in advancing AI, cybersecurity, and data-driven solutions. She also highlighted Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s “Digital Nation Vision Pakistan”, which seeks to position the country as a regional technology hub.
