The discussion began when the CEO of Beast Industries shared figures regarding the scale of MrBeast’s audience
Rosanna Pansino has questioned whether MrBeast pays for YouTube video views after the chief executive of Beast Industries claimed the creator’s content reached 1.45 billion unique viewers in the past 90 days.
The discussion began when Jeff Housenbold, CEO of Beast Industries, shared figures regarding the scale of MrBeast’s audience.
Pansino responded on X by asking whether the total included paid traffic. She wrote, “Did MrBeasts CEO disclose how many of those views were bought? It was recently discovered that MrBeast ran his long form and short form videos as ads 428 times last year alone. His Long Form views are down about 50% from last year despite him buying views. This spin goes”.

In a follow-up post, she clarified that she was not making a direct accusation but referring to publicly available data. Pansino also stated that YouTube’s Promote feature allows creators to spend money to increase subscribers and views.
Her comments prompted mixed reactions from users, however, neither Housenbold nor MrBeast has publicly responded.
Separately, the 27-year-old creator faced criticism after telling The Wall Street Journal he has “negative money” in his bank account, explaining that although he may be a billionaire on paper, his liquid cash is significantly lower. The remark drew online backlash from users who viewed the comparison as out of touch.
