LAHORE: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi has commended the exceptional security measures implemented during the recently concluded Pakistan-Bangladesh T20I series, recognizing the efforts of Lahore Police, Pakistan Army, Rangers, and other law enforcement agencies.
Naqvi expressed gratitude to Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif and the Punjab government for their unwavering support, emphasizing that the security arrangements ensured a safe and enjoyable experience for cricket fans attending the matches at Gaddafi Stadium.
He further extended special appreciation to the officers and personnel involved in maintaining security throughout the three-match series, praising their dedication and diligence. “Their efforts ensured foolproof security, allowing thousands of fans to witness cricket in a secure environment,” Naqvi stated. Pakistan secured a 3-0 series whitewash, winning the final T20I by seven wickets, with Mohammad Haris leading the charge with a match-winning century (107 off 46 balls)*.
