ISLAMABAD: Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has expressed gratitude to US President Donald Trump and the US Ambassador for their key role in the Pakistan-India ceasefire. He said that the credit for the ceasefire between the two nuclear powers goes to Donald Trump, who saved the region from a catastrophic disaster and rendered a service to humanity.
Acting US Ambassador to Pakistan, Natalie Baker, called on Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi in Islamabad. Matters of mutual interest, Pakistan-US ties, and bilateral cooperation were discussed during the meeting. Moreover, the situation following the Pakistan-India ceasefire was also discussed.
Mohsin Naqvi further stated that Pakistan welcomes Trump’s positive views regarding the country’s leadership. He emphasised that Pakistan wishes to enhance cooperation with the US.
Natalie Baker said that the US enjoys excellent relations with Pakistan and will continue to cooperate in various sectors. Federal Interior Secretary Khurram Agha was also present on the occasion.
