BALAKOT:
In Gitti Das within the jurisdiction of Naran Police Station, four police personnel were injured when unknown assailants opened fire on a police van that was on patrol. After receiving initial medical aid in Naran, they were referred to Mansehra.
The injured personnel include Ehtesham, Aamir, Ishtiaq and Raja Kashif. After the incident, Mansehra District Police Officer Shafiullah Gandapur visited the Gitti Das police post near Babusar Top and the scene of the occurrence and personally supervised the search operation.
The Mansehra and Gilgit-Baltistan police and scouts have decided to collaborate to arrest the culprits.
