At least four children were killed and several others injured on Wednesday morning when an Army Public School (APS) bus was targeted with a bomb explosion in Khuzdar, Balochistan.
In a statement on X, the interior ministry condemned the attack allegedly carried out through a vehicle-borne improvised explosive device (VBIED).
According to the Khuzdar deputy commissioner, the blast occured when the school bus was near the district’s Zero Point. The deceased and the injured were shifted to a nearby hospital and will be referred to medical facilities in Karachi and Quetta, he added.
