An earthquake struck the Malir neighbourhood of port city Karachi this morning, the Pakistan Meteorological Department said on Wednesday. 

The Met Office said that the earthquake, recorded at 9:34am, had a magnitude of 3.2 and a depth of 10 kilometres, with the epicentre was located 7 kilometres northwest of Malir. 

No loss of life or property has been reported so far.
