BANNU:
Unidentified armed men abducted the teenage son of a police officer in Bannu, while terrorists launched two separate attacks on police in the Domel area, injuring a passerby in one incident, local police reported.
The abduction occurred in the Kotka Noor Jan Mandi area near a mosque, where assailants seized 15-year-old Muhammad, son of Head Constable Zakir Khan. The father is currently on duty at the Regional Police Officer (RPO) office. Police have launched an investigation and are working to locate the boy and apprehend the kidnappers.
In related security incidents, terrorists targeted Domel police positions twice. In the first attack at Nala Kashu, a quadcopter drone dropped an explosive on a police party.
