Brody urges critics of half-sister Kylie and Chalamet’s relationship to ‘leave the happy couple alone’
Brody Jenner has publicly defended Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet following renewed scrutiny surrounding their relationship, urging critics to stop speculating about the couple’s past.
The comments came after claims surfaced in an interview with Sarah Tena, who alleged she had a prior non-exclusive relationship with Chalamet beginning in 2020.
Tena said she was surprised to later see the actor linked to Jenner, stating, “I see these things about him dating Kylie Jenner and I was very confused about that. At first, I thought it was fake news and then I was like maybe it’s a PR thing. But now it looks like maybe they are together. I don’t know… It doesn’t add up.”
Responding to online discussion of the claims, Brody Jenner addressed the situation directly in social media comments. “Oh god 🙄 just leave the happy couple alone,” he wrote. “People have lives before they meet their person. This girl is clearly doing this for attention, and everyone can see right through it.”
The relationship between Jenner and Chalamet, first linked in April 2023, has remained under public attention, particularly as the actor faces criticism over recent remarks about opera and ballet, where he said “no one cares”.
Despite the scrutiny, the couple have continued to appear together publicly. They most recently attended Vanity Fair’s annual Oscars afterparty on March 15, where they were seen together on the red carpet and sharing moments of public affection.
Their public appearances and continued support for one another suggest a stable relationship despite ongoing speculation. The couple made their red carpet debut in May 2025 and have since maintained a visible presence at major industry events.
