Maulana Khan Zeb, a leader of the Awami National Party (ANP), was tragically killed in a shooting attack alongside a police officer at Shindai Mor, Khar Tehsil, Bajaur district, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Thursday.
The attack occurred while Maulana Khan Zeb was actively campaigning for a peace parade on July 13 as part of a local peace initiative.
In addition to Maulana Khan Zeb, police officer Sepahi Saeed Ullah was also killed in the attack, while Osman, Shahsawar, and Mohammad Tariq sustained injuries and are currently receiving medical treatment.
After the incident, the police cordoned off the area, and authorities have launched an investigation to identify the perpetrators.
