DIJKOT: An official of the building control department was caught red-handed accepting a bribe after a citizen filed a complaint with the Anti-Corruption Department. According to a report by anti-corruption sources, citizen Waheed Ahmed had submitted a complaint to the Director of Anti-Corruption, Faisalabad Region, alleging that Municipal Corporation’s building inspector, Amir Ali, had demanded a bribe of Rs50,000.
