LAHORE: Punjab government has enforced a comprehensive and high-alert security plan for the obsersance of Ashrura across the province. The situation is unfolding in the thickly inhabited Nahiyan Jo Pirh locality in downtown City taluka of Hyderabad without authorities standing aloof to the occurrence. KARACHI: Rescue 1122 is making use of modern technology to help identify people buried beneath the rubble of the collapsed building in Lyari’s Baghdadi area. This equipment includes life detection devices capable of sensing human heartbeat and movement, along with other modern tools to aid in the search and rescue operation. ATTOCK: Rescue authorities on Saturday safely evacuated 25 people, including women and children, who were stranded in the Indus River near Shadi Khan, Attock, after a sudden surge in water levels due to monsoon rains and the opening of Tarbela Dam’s spillways.
