Tisdale reveals she’s been tempted by Ozempic but believes her body should evolve naturally through motherhood

Ashley Tisdale has reflected on the growing popularity of GLP-1 drugs such as Ozempic, sharing her thoughts on body image and societal beauty standards in a candid post on her wellness blog ByAshleyFrench.

The High School Musical star wrote that while she has been “tempted” to try a GLP-1 medication for weight loss, she ultimately decided against it. “Bodies are meant to grow, heal, stretch, and adapt,” she explained, adding that using the drug would not be “the right move for me.”

Tisdale shared that a few years ago, the use of Ozempic was kept quiet in Los Angeles. “Nobody in LA would admit to using Ozempic,” she recalled. “I’d hear whispers about people doing ‘the jab,’ and then I learned that some people were using diabetes medicine off-label to lose weight.”

Commenting on shifting beauty ideals, she noted, “In the 2000s it was big boobs, then suddenly flat chests were in. The 2010s brought body positivity, and now it’s like we’re back to chasing ultra-slim everything.”

The mother of two admitted she has occasionally wondered, “Is everyone using Ozempic except me?” but said she has chosen to focus on self-acceptance instead. “What I’m most interested in is the why behind my desire to change my body. What am I actually chasing?” she wrote.

Tisdale, who shares daughters Jupiter, 4, and Emerson, 1, with husband Christopher French, said her post-pregnancy recovery has been gradual.
