Ali Larter recently got candid and revealed how Taylor Sheridan made things intense on the set of Landman.
For those unaware, Larter and Michelle Randolph, who played the role of mother-daughter duo Angela and Ainsley in the Sheridan series, make things difficult for Billy Bob Thornton’s character Tommy Norris.
Their first interaction was in 2024, when they got together to shoot the first season and in her latest conversation with PEOPLE magazine, Larter claimed that the atmosphere on the neo-Western drama television was intense from the beginning.
Referring to her costar Randolph, the 49-year-old American actress and former model said, “We spent a lot of time together, the first season, when there wasn’t handholding. There wasn’t, ‘You’re doing a great job.'”
Larter went on to share that “you kind of were thrown into the fire into a very high-pressure, high-octane set.” However, she was fortunate enough to have found Randolph.
“It was really amazing that we had each other to lean on, and so I think that that really formed this bond [between us],” the Resident Evil star stated.
Moving forward, she went on to applaud Sheridan for creating a gripping show in collaboration with Christian Wallace, which ultimately brought her and Randolph close to each other.
“Taylor is masterful at casting. He just is. I don’t know how he knows who’s going to get along and what’s going to work and what doesn’t, but it just works,” Larter remarked.
Singing praises of the 28-year-old American actress, the Final Destination actress admitted that she is “an amazing person. She’s a talented actress and just, [she’s] the best.”
Before concluding, it is pertinent to mention that new episodes of Landman air every Sunday on Paramount+.
