Investment environment is improving and investor confidence is gaining strength in Pakistan due to the support of SIFC, Radio Pakistan reported on Tuesday.
In the first eight months of current fiscal year, profits and dividends for foreign investors reached 1.73 billion dollars which is 10.52 per cent higher than the last year.
According to Finance Minister’s Advisor Khurram Schehzad, an independent survey indicates that confidence of foreign investors operating in Pakistan has increased. He mentioned that around 60% of investors considered Pakistan a suitable place for investment two years ago and this figure has now increased to 75 per cent.
