DIJKOT:
A man’s leg has been left disabled after receiving a wrong injection from an unqualified doctor in Jaranwala, police confirmed on Wednesday.
According to the FIR, the victim, Sher Muhammad, a resident of 534-GB and a farmer by profession, developed a fever on April 4 and went to a local quack, identified as Mumtaz Ali, in Landianwala for treatment. The self-styled doctor administered an injection into his muscle, after which Sher Muhammad experienced severe pain on the spot.
When he complained, the quack reassured him that the pain would subside in a couple of days. Instead, his left leg stopped functioning and has since become completely disabled.
