ISLAMABAD:

Senior representatives from Pakistan, Iran, Russia and China will participate in a four-nation meeting on the evolving situation in Afghanistan to be held in Moscow today (October 6).

According to sources, the meeting will hold a detailed discussion on Afghanistan’s overall situation, regional security, counterterrorism, and border cooperation. The four countries are expected to reaffirm their joint stance against the establishment of any foreign military bases in Afghanistan.

In addition, discussions are expected on what participants view as the international community’s double standards concerning the travel exemptions of Taliban leaders.
