Teller surprised his wife on Christmas with a recreated version of her wedding dress lost in the January wildfires
Miles Teller recreated a deeply personal piece of his wife’s history by gifting Keleigh Teller a remade version of her wedding dress for Christmas, nearly a year after the original was destroyed in the Los Angeles wildfires.
Keleigh shared the moment in a TikTok video posted on December 27, showing Miles filming as she opened a large red box. As she pulled out a garment bag, she asked, “Is this my wedding dress,” to which he replied, “Yeah.” The model became emotional as she realised the dress was a recreation of the Monique Lhuillier gown she wore at their 2019 wedding.
The gesture followed the devastation caused by the Pacific Palisades fire in January, which affected the couple’s community and resulted in the loss of sentimental belongings, including the dress.
In a January 9 Instagram post, Keleigh reflected on the impact of the fires, writing, “To everyone reaching out I can’t thank you enough, your kind hearts have meant the world, I’ll never forget them.” She also urged residents to prioritise safety, adding, “If you’re in the LA area PLEASE get out if you can.”
She later shared her regret over losing the gown, writing, “I wish I grabbed my wedding dress .. wish I did a lot different but it doesn’t matter, stay safe, get out. there are no words. THANK YOU to the first responders fighting.”
