RAWALPINDI:
The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) foiled an attempt by a passenger to travel abroad on a forged passport.
The immigration officials at the New Islamabad Airport successfully intercepted passenger Iqbal Farooq, who was due to fly to Germany on Flight QR 633, and checked his credentials.
The passenger was deemed suspicious and subjected to further scrutiny, which revealed that the German passport presented was counterfeit.
