The Jonas Brothers marked their Los Angeles stop on the Jonas20: Greetings From Your Hometown anniversary tour with guest performances by John Legend and 5 Seconds of Summer.
The concert took place on September 6 at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California, and featured a career-spanning setlist alongside special collaborations. After opening with fan favourites including ‘L.A. Baby (Where Dreams Are Made Of)’, ‘Only Human’ and ‘S.O.S.’, the brothers surprised the crowd by inviting John Legend on stage.
Nick Jonas reflected on his time with Legend on The Voice before introducing him, saying: “We got to absorb just a tiny bit of his light, his artistry and his brilliance in those two years I did that show. Man, I can’t believe I’m about to say these words, but Los Angeles, please welcome to the show, our friend, your friend, Mr John Legend.”
Legend then performed his hit ballad ‘All Of Me’ with the band before joining them for a rendition of their track ‘I Believe’ from Happiness Begins.
Later in the night, 5 Seconds of Summer appeared on stage for a high-energy version of their breakout single ‘She Looks So Perfect’. The collaboration with the Australian band added to the celebratory atmosphere of the Jonas Brothers’ 20th anniversary tour.
The evening continued with classics like ‘Sucker’, ‘Lovebug’ and ‘Burnin’ Up’ with Big Rob, before closing with an encore of ‘Please Be Mine’ and ‘When You Look Me in the Eyes’.
The Jonas Brothers’ anniversary shows have become known for their surprise guest appearances, with previous dates featuring Demi Lovato and a Fifth Harmony reunion.
