Heidi Klum has once again proven why she’s hailed as the ultimate Queen of Halloween.
The 52-year-old supermodel unveiled a jaw-dropping transformation this year, arriving at her iconic Halloween bash in New York City on Friday, October 31, dressed as the mythological Medusa.
Her elaborate look featured a serpentine tail, intricate makeup, and moving snakes that slithered through her hair, making her nearly unrecognisable.
Her husband, Tom Kaulitz, complemented her transformation perfectly, appearing as a Greek soldier turned to stone — a nod to Medusa’s deadly gaze.
In Greek mythology, anyone who looks directly at Medusa is instantly turned to stone. Despite his petrified state, Kaulitz told People magazine on the red carpet that he found Klum’s look “sexy.”
Klum, ever playful, added, “I think he looks super hot.”
On Instagram, the model gave fans a closer look at her ensemble, captioning a video, “HAPPY HEIDIWEEN. Don’t stare too long or you’ll turn to stone.”
She also hissed playfully at photographers and wielded a bow and arrow while striking dramatic poses on the red carpet.
The America’s Got Talent judge revealed glimpses of her creative process throughout the day, sharing behind-the-scenes photos and videos of the extensive makeup work.
She credited renowned makeup designer Mike Marino, a three-time Oscar nominee recognised for The Batman, Coming 2 America, and A Different Man. Marino, who also earned an Emmy for transforming Colin Farrell into The Penguin, was behind Klum’s astonishing look.
This year marks the 25th anniversary of Klum’s star-studded Halloween celebration, first launched in 2000. After a brief hiatus in 2020 and 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Klum returned to her favorite night of the year in full force.
