RAWALPINDI:

Class IV government employees have launched a written protest against rising prices. They have begun sending letters of protest to the Punjab governor and chief minister, demanding relief.

Employees challenged the leadership to draft a household budget for a family of four with their current wages.

The All Pakistan Clerks Association (APCA) has backed the protest, announcing plans to send open letters to the president, prime minister, and finance minister along with the employees’ salary slips. Protesting employees warned that without immediate action there could be a sharp rise in suicides, theft, corruption, and crime among the working class.
