A day after a lioness gave birth to three healthy cubs, Safari Park welcome the birth of several wildlife species, including Sindh ibex, chital, mouflon, blackbuck, and horse.

According to an announcement of the KMC, these births mark a milestone in Safari Park's efforts to foster a healthier, safer and more sustainable environment for wildlife.

All newborn animals were examined by the park's veterinary team and have been declared in excellent health, a spokesperson said. "Special care arrangements have been put in place to ensure their continued wellbeing," he added.

City Mayor Murtaza Wahab praised the park staff for their efforts and directed officials to maintain an enriched and sustainable habitat for the newborn animals.

Calling it a moment of joy for the city and for wildlife enthusiasts, Mayor Wahab instructed the concerned departments to organise a naming ceremony to mark the occasion. He said, "we must celebrate their arrival to express our care and compassion. Wildlife deserves the same respect and protection as humans, and this celebration is a symbol of our commitment to their wellbeing." The latest births at Safari Park include 1 mouflon, 4 Sindh ibex, 4 blackbucks, 2 chital (spotted deer), 1 horse, 2 fallow deer, and 1 white fallow deer.
