PESHAWAR:

The 9th meeting of the Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) on Tuesday approved 60 development projects worth over Rs38 billion.

The approved projects cover key sectors including roads, agriculture, social welfare, livestock, industries, health, forestry and irrigation. Members of the PDWP and officials of the departments concerned attended the meeting.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi reaffirmed the government’s commitment to ensuring uniform development across the province, stating that public welfare projects are being implemented under a sustainable development planning framework.

The forum also approved a Rs500 million water supply and drainage project for the flood-affected district of Buner.
